Baan Kamala Backpacker

It was much better than I expected. For the price, it was more than acceptable. I stayed in the single/double room. It was small. There was a balcony facing a street. I think the music played alll night, but i didn't hear it through the night. It's old. It's quaint!!! It's a good price for the location!!! The locks on the doors need to be upgraded. The sliding doors didn't lock. The outside safety door didn't lock. The staff were really good about maintaining a secure place. I have to admit that I don't worry too much about safety here. Keep alert...and enjoy. The sttaff went out of their way to help me get a mechanic to jump start my scooter. They were more than helpful!!

A very nice welcoming the staff are lovely and helpful and everything was clean. It was in a great location lots of places to eat and drink and also near to the beach. The room was good as it is a hostel but I had a private room with bunk bed so if feels like your own space with privacy. I was happy there is a wash service. The balcony and aircon is shared but that was no problem. This was a good and safe stay

I recently stayed at an accommodation with friendly and helpful staff, as well as a clean and central location. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The place was impeccably clean, making me feel at ease during my stay.

Good hostel, less than 10 minutes walk from the beach. There were curtains around the bed which is very nice, as well as individual light, plug and locker above the bed. The place was clean, it was a nice stay overall.
